The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has meant restrictions on visitors across healthcare settings since 2020.

Since May, the Southern Trust only allowed one of any two nominated people to visit their loved ones, separately.

In the update on 4 August, the trust said the move was "in recognition of the needs of patients and their loved ones". People visiting any trust facilities are still encouraged to take Lateral Flow Tests before they attend.
