These decisions should not be made through polls. Closing a border does nothing to stop a virus from spreading when it is already on both sides. Every month that the border is closed, more jobs are lost & there is far more suffering. Not one life has been saved, just damage.
As an American, I support the border closure too. I wear a mask to mitigate the risks of me potentially transmitting COVID-19 to those around me. Countries should also respect the need for borders closing to slow down the spread of the disease spreading to their borders.
