With the spread of the Delta variant and lagging vaccination rates, Covid-19 cases have strained many hospitals across the US -- which one expert called unfair and unacceptable.

Montana's health care system is under that strain, including St. Peter's Health in Helena, which is operating under crisis standards of care. The 1918 flu pandemic killed 50 million people. These lessons could help avoid a repeat with Covid-19"We are at the point where not every patient in need will get the care we might wish we could give. It is not business as usual at your local health care system," Dr. Shelly Harkins, chief medical officer of St. Peter's Health, said.

Should previously infected people get vaccinated? On the question of whether previously infected people should be vaccinated to be protected from the virus, Fauci said recovered patients have a"considerable degree of immunity."However, he emphasized to CNN's Jake Tapper on"State of the Union" Sunday, that it's unclear how long that protection lasts.Vaccine boosters for more people are on the horizon.

Can’t blame unvaccinated any more because vaccine has worn off after 5-6 months, so the unboosted are also to blame if you’re going to play that game.

Chris Rock nailed pharmaceutical and the government

Let's start encouraging, telling the truth, stop covering up, stop dividing, stop the hate, and watch and see how many more people get in line to get vaccinated.

If this is such an issue (and I’m not suggesting it isn’t), why has there been no media outrage over countless 100,000 spectator events over the last 3 weekends?

Experts may call it unfair and unacceptable but a sizeable chunk of the American population believe that 1 million plus dead will be more than acceptable to them.

What about the false positives that are being counted? My brother in law felt congested coming down with something , went to get tested told him he had Covid. I told him go get another test they sent it to a lab to make sure and guess what? NEGATIVE!

What about the military, you do not hear about how over worked we are, no sleep for days not hours. But we suck it up and push on.

ITS NOT A VACCINE! Get that through your thick skulls. You have been duped into believing the shot you got was a vaccine shot. A cure all for covid. Well, its not.

What about the report today where they admitted they exaggerated numbers? Resigning staff creates shortage....

these articles do nothing but pit one person against another. we all know that the medical personnel have taken a oath to preserve life. There isn’t one person that’s going to turn their back on someone that shows up at the hospital ,That won’t prevent people from suggesting it.

💊💊 here it is the treatment:

He is no expert if he doesn't understand the difference between correlative and causative science. The vaccination rates are not making the difference, it is simply the climate. Humidity is the predominant factor in covid spread.

Then why did Kaiser Hospital take down all there procautions to only wearing a mask

Maybe they should stop firing employees over mandates.

If you say you don’t want to wear a mask or get the vaccine and you get Covid then you should be the last to be given an available hospital bed. If there are enough beds fine, but if they start to run out then prioritize non Covid cases where the patient is vaccinated.

Brazil reports over 150,000 COVID-19 cases in one day amid Rio backlogBrazil reported 935 COVID-19 deaths on Saturday and some 150,106 additional cases, according to data released by the nation's Health Ministry, an unusually large number due to what officials said was an adjustment in how case numbers are tabulated. Some 92,614 cases occurred in Rio de Janeiro in recent months, but only entered into the official count in the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry said. Rio's state-level health ministry attributed the number of cases registered to new demands from the federal Health Ministry regarding case counting, the details of which were not revealed.
