Cox vows to veto last-minute bill banning transgender girls in female school sportsIn the waning hours of the legislative session, a state lawmaker brought forward a proposal that would bar transgender girls from competing in school sports matching their gender identities. State Sen. Dan McCay offered the proposal as a possible substitute for a bill sponsored by Rep.
