Police found a couple shot to death early Wednesday morning inside a Lancaster County home. Crews were called just after 4 a.m. for a shooting on West Sun Hill Road near Power Road in Penn Township.'On scene officers located two adults, one male, and one female: both deceased inside the home,' Northern Lancaster County Regional Police said in a statement.
Then they heard multiple gunshots and they found Mark and Diane with fatal injuries.'NLCRPD investigators determined that Mark Shepherd fired multiple shots from a revolver handgun striking Diane, and then proceeded to take his own life with the same weapon. Arriving NLCRPD officers and EMS attempted immediate assessment and emergency treatment however both Mark and Diane had been fatally wounded and succumbed to their injuries,' police said in a statement.
