Country music legend Reba McEntire performed before friends, officials and media gathered for the opening of her new restaurant, Reba’s Place, in downtown Atoka, Oklahoma in 2023.This is McIntire’s 17th time to host the show, the most of any artist. The country music superstar will also perform during the show and debut new music.“I am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time,” McIntire said in a statement.
This year marks the second time country music’s oldest awards show will take place at the Dallas Cowboy’s world headquarters in Frisco. Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks hosted last year at the 12,000 seat Ford Center, which Whiteside said the ACMs found to be a surprising fit.“Frisco really turned out to be a great home for us last year. It was something very unexpected for us,” he told reporters in a press conference last month. “But it really turned out to be fantastic.
Viewers can stream this year’s awards live on Prime Video. More than 7.7 million tuned in on the platform last year.
