Country music legend rushed into emergency heart surgery

The country singer was recently cleared to perform after being hospitalized.Country music legend Mark Chesnutt has had his share of medical issues across the past year, and they took a frightening turn last weekend,The site reported that Chesnutt had an emergency quadruple bypass last week and has cancelled all of his upcoming shows.

Chesnutt, 60, had to cancel a pair of shows last November and a post to his X, formerly Twitter, account said that he was “undergoing a medical evaluation after being admitted to a local hospital.”Chesnutt rose to stardom in the early 90s and has a long list of albums and hit songs in his catalog. Among those, Chesnutt has had 20 top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
