But this new move is taking things one step further and many customers who’ve been looking for items for their families and finding empty shelves because of hoarding are happy about it.
“This is such great news! I’m tired of all those people that buy toilet paper and think they can just return it later when they don’t need it,” one person wrote. “It’s about time! Too many people taking advantage of their return policy,” another added. “This will prevent people from buying large amounts. They will be stuck with them after this is all over. Good on Costco!” said another.
I don’t feel bad for those trying to return these items. That’s karma!!
Good maybe they will stop hoarding so that people especially the populations most vulnerable people have a chance to get what they need
Perfect! All those people spending a months wages to hoard supplies leaving vulnerable people to go without deserve to be stuck with their purchases. Good on you Costco
Bravo 👏🏻
Maybe they should just stop allowing people to hoard in the first place. Restrictions on amount of items has been in place at the grocery stores and it works.
Sam's Club by is has their system setup so each membership can only buy 1 of everything. Seems responsible
Glad to hear it. Hope they have enough storage for their TP and bottled water to the year 2050.
👏🏽
Good
Time to do the right thing, give it to people who need it.
Credit cards are not forgiving either. People knew this stuff was gonna cost them. They can donate to homeless shelters, women's domestic violence groups, children's group homes, etc if they ''feel so bad for buying so much'
right
They shouldn't be hoarding to begin with! We're all in this together!
Good.
