25-million dollars to pay for resurfacing, new ADA curb ramps and rehabbed sidewalks. Nine streets getting work near Country Club Road and Crawfordsville Road.

INDIANAPOLIS — Some major road work is underway in neighborhoods on the far west side of Indianapolis.

The project will last weeks, not months, but it's a big one. $25 million was allocated for pay for resurfacing, new ADA-compliant curb ramps and repaired sidewalks. "Now they are," said Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett."And that means $16 million every year that we would not otherwise receive can go into residential roadways like the ones we're rehabbing today."As for which streets get attention, the city is using a"worst first" approach.
