'Voting is a foundational right in America, and we will continue to work to advance voting rights and access in Georgia and across the country,' Coca-Cola said in a statement to CNBC.

Large corporations, including Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines and Aflac, came out to stand up against voting restrictions measures by Georgia's Republican Party.

Aflac shared Coca-Cola's sentiments, saying"the right to vote in national, state and local elections is the cornerstone of democracy." A Coca-Cola sign is shown atop the Olympia Building downtown in Atlanta, Georgia on July 27, 2019. The company since joined other corporate heavyweights in standing against voting restrictions measures proposed by Georgia’s Republican Party.

The Georgia Chamber said it has"expressed concern and opposition to provisions found in both HB 531 and SB 241 that restrict or diminish voter access," and"continues to engage in a bipartisan manner with leaders of the General Assembly on bills that would impact voting rights in our state."

Time to increase the corporate tax rate

🤣The same coco-cola that donated to them?

That’s nice but besides a statement, are they doing anything else?

Business in politics? How can that be explained?

Yes IDs are such horrible things. It's oppression. It's racism. It's bigotry.

Really? 'We support efforts by the Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce to help facilitate a balanced approach to the election bills that have been introduced in the Georgia Legislature this session.' FYI: The GA Legislature wants to rescind voting rights.

Will they request their donations be returned?

Dear CocaCola Delta and aflac, well done! 👏👏👏

Because they believe the media narrative vs facts

One thing for sure. It's happening in at least 23 states like Georgia. Fascist never give up.
