New York Governor Andrew Cuomo cited tentative signs the coronavirus outbreak was flattening in the state but warned against complacency

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said coronavirus-related deaths statewide reached 4,758 as of Monday, an increase of 599 from Sunday, on par with an increase of 594 during the previous 24 hours. On Friday, the state’s death toll increased by 630.

Cuomo warned it was still too soon to know whether the state has turned the corner, saying: “If we are plateauing, we are plateauing at a high level.” “This virus has kicked our rear-end,” Cuomo said. “Now is not the time to slack off from what we are doing.” “It’s going to be the peak hospitalization, peak ICU week and unfortunately, peak death week,” Admiral Brett Giroir, a physician and member of the White House coronavirus task force, told ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Monday.

More than 90% of Americans are under stay-at-home orders issued by state governors in recent weeks, while eight states have yet to impose such restrictions.

De Blasio the great! A real leader

Yeah. Americans are not sitting on their couches, as much as some folks in the world wish it were true. Exactly how many sewing machines are owned in the US? Report that.

Maybe those local companies can find the millions his wife took.

Trump just said there is no shortage and that he has done well for NY. He also said de Blasio was happy and said that to Mike Pence today - what's true?

Deblasio,Schumer,cuomo

deBlasio is as inept and as incompetent as Trump.

President Trump said all people have to do is call for supplies, which are in the market place.

However , due to the MTA not running trains , the subway is overcrowded even for key workers. How can they practice social distancing on the MTA responsibly?

Way, way too early...

Numbers schnumbers, it’s all inflated and baloney to push fear! They already gifted the top trillions of dollars! Regular folks are still broke, unemployed and uninsured!

New York City morgues almost full, alert sent for 45K health care workers amid coronavirus outbreakGov. Andrew Cuomo recalls outpouring of help that arrived in New York City after 9/11 attacks: 'Nobody asked—they just showed up!' 'That's America at its best. And at this time, when we're dealing with our worst, let's deploy America at its best.' Ahh yes, America, who we all rushed to the aid of after 9/11, who now goes around pirating ventilators and PPE from its allies. What a sad, shabby nation you've become. Hear and feel for him, but this horrible pandemic is affecting the whole country, not just NY. I have family there and they are also concerned for us in Miami-Dade. Governors need to watch for their own, they were elected for precisely that reason. He is truly a leader PresidentCuomo
