The victim was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending family notification. On Sept. 27, police arrested 32-year-old Erickson Jean-Gilles in connection to the stabbing. A spokesperson for the NYPD stated that the victim and Jean-Gilles allegedly got into a dispute that led to the stabbing.
