... [+]AP Photo/Andrew Harnik: Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh announced on Monday he has been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer, but he still plans on continuing his widely popular radio show between treatments.

Limbaugh said on air during his syndicated radio program that two medical institutions confirmed the diagnosis on January 20.Limbaugh will miss some shows to undergo treatment, but the program itself will continue.to CNN.:"And I wish I didn't have to tell you this and I thought about not telling anybody. I thought about trying to do this without anybody knowing," Limbaugh said."Because I don't like making this about me.
