Congresswoman Katie Hill’s Final House Speech Proves Why We Need Her in Office

It’s particularly troubling to see Hill—one of the first openly LGBTQ+ politicians elected to Congress—taken down by her personal life. It’s a sad fact that the farther one’s sexuality ranges from “the norm,” the more at risk one is of being targeted and hypersexualized.
