Compass Datacenters is launching a new $100 million data center Red Oak.

The site, which is located at 481 Austin Boulevard, appears to be near the firm’s existing datacenter in Red Oak. The project will include construction of a new data center on a data center campus, according to documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Recently, Compass Datacenters got underway with a $64 million renovation of its existing data center in Red Oak. The project is located at 441 North Austin Boulevard and encompasses 5,000 square feet. The scope of the works includes tenant fit out of data hall space, supporting infrastructure spaces and tenant office space.The Dallas-based firm originally bought 225 acres in Red Oak, according to previous reporting by the.

The firms with the largest data center holdings in North Texas include Digital Realty, CyrusOne, QTS Realty Trust and DataBank. 1
