Community remembers fallen Lebanon officer two years after his death

Lebanon City police Lt. William Lebo lost his life in the line of duty on March 31, 2022. The veteran officer was shot and killed while responding to an armed burglary. Two of his fellow officers were also critically wounded that day.Now, his family, community, and fellow officers are joining together to remember him. The entire Lebanon City police force led a group along the same path Lebo took from his home in the southwest section of the city to work every day.

She said he was always ready to serve and always there to protect.Lora Lebo helped to create the William D. Lebo Foundation after her husband's death. Its mission is to raise funds to support the growth of Lebanon City and County as well as its first responders and their children.Now, the foundation is selling special umbrellas, similar to the one Lebo used.
