Tinder wants to allow users to send out an alarm when bad dates turn really ugly. The popular dating app plans to start offering users an option to hit a panic button, receive check-ins to make sure they feel safe, and even summon authorities to their location.

Ich verstehe den Ansatz, befürchte jedoch das Schlimmste, nämlich das junge Frauen sich selbst ein falsches Männerbild kreieren, wenn sie im Rahmen eines Dates die Wesensfestigkeit, vor allem, junger Männer, auf Teufel komm raus testen sollen (manche vielleicht wollen).
Just a thought? Try going to a bar with friends, chat/chatted up by someone who takes your fancy. No panic button required, you know what they look like. Used to work very well.
