McManus : Why Republicans are suddenly reluctant to condemn political violence

the events. Twenty-one House Republicans voted against awarding a medal to the Capitol Police for attempting to defend the building; several said they objected to calling the riot an “insurrection.”

But a significant chunk of the party’s most fervent supporters aren’t so sure, and they illustrate the GOP’s dilemma. At a time when the party needs every vote it can muster, it can’t risk alienating loyal supporters, even if they embrace violence.after the riot in January, 56% of Republicans agreed that “the traditional American way of life is disappearing so fast that we may have to use force to save it.

The result, says Tufts University political scholar Daniel Drezner, is a GOP that has begun to resemble Lebanon’s Hezbollah, “a political party that also has an armed wing to coerce other political actors through violence.”“The comparison is stronger now than before,” Drezner told me last week. “The Republicans who wanted to impeach Trump have been marginalized, and the state parties sound more and more secessionist with each passing day.

DoyleMcManus The Far Right led my Florida, Texas, and South of the Mason Dixon are leading us to civil war. Why don't you open your eyes?

DoyleMcManus In other words, do they want to be Democrats.

DoyleMcManus Where is the article 'Why dems can't solve the homeless problem?' Or 'Why the dems can't make basic govt functions work, like the edd?'

DoyleMcManus Trump didn’t promise to increase the min wage or cancel student loan debt. He didn’t promise a publicoption or an increase of the corp taxrate. He didn’t promise to pass the PROAct, Infrastructure, the votingrights act. When Biden gets these things done then I’ll care about 1/6

DoyleMcManus Maybe it's because Democrats say that we can't 'Arrest' our way out of a problem. Such as drug offenses. But they sure arrested their way out of this 'insurrection' issue.

DoyleMcManus 1/6 is not an embarrassment. It was a crime. A crime by a lot of pissed off Americans who let it be known that our federal government needs to function and represent its constituents. Short of entering the Capitol, the protest was warranted.

DoyleMcManus Why is the administration so reluctant to release the video?

DoyleMcManus Because it can't be. It *actually* can't be. crushingsohard

DoyleMcManus 회개와 거룩함 사역회 BUSAN GravityOfHell 예수님의 보혈이 흐르고 있는 케냐의 집회현장을 보십시오 주님 다시 오십니다

DoyleMcManus How in the hell is that even a debate?

DoyleMcManus Yes, they are.

Is antifa still an idea?

The GOP has no choice because Donny has dirt of their crimes.

Because if everyone else uses it don't expect the Teaparty not to.

Because it is their own voters being violent?

Because it suits their purpose of pursuit of Forever Rule of the American People.🙄

Because Republicans can't win elections legitimately and if rigging elections doesn't end up working they need a plan B?

As Dems run short on time, why not scrap the August break?.MaddowBlog: Democratic leaders are concerned about an unforgiving calendar. Those same Democratic leaders have the option of scrapping their August break. MaddowBlog Why not scrap the Senate. We could bribe current senators with a billion dollars a year for life to pass a new amendment that abolishes it and still come out way ahead. MaddowBlog This a time of all hands on deck. You don’t break for an entire month. This is not usual business. Dems need to sacrifice their time off for America. Otherwise get out. Americans are sick of both parties. SenSchumer SpeakerPelosi Voters will clean house next time. MaddowBlog They either need to do it or quit whining. We have some very serious issues and concerns with the continuing coup against our country by the Republican party.
