In a well-run city, getting to and from one of the world’s busiest airports would not be a nightmare.But in Los Angeles, after three decades of planning improvements, we’re not there yet.
So now we have a billion cars a day inching their way in and out of LAX, and we’re ticked off about a problem we helped create.wage while beating up their own vehicles and putting more of a squeeze on taxi drivers, who used to cash a decent paycheck before we all began telling one another about how much we love our ride-hailing apps.

waiting half an hour on a 100' day to sit next to a guy who thinks he's a bird on a crowded bus that stops 21times OR waiting 5 minutes for an uber to pick only YOU up in an a/c car and take you directly to your drop-off. tough choice, LA times.

A train might work much better. Of course you would have to take a bus to Palmdale to catch the train.
How about LAX is a horrid, poorly designed airport much like the LA freeway system.

I’m 73 years old. And after a 6 hour flight, I don’t want to schlep my luggage on a bus L.A. Times!

The individuals that ride the LA metro are required to have a certain tenacity that transplants take some time to pick adopt. Remember that video of the whole bus of people beating the shit out of some guy. Tremendous.

Ride a motorcycle to LAX. If you have the means, it’s probably the only way to maintain sanity this holiday season. None of the transportation recommended in this article can bypass the gridlock about to engulf LAX like a 2 wheeler. Just remember to pack real light. Free parking!
