Good morning, Central Ohio! Sunny skies are on tap for today with breezy conditions. It will be cool for the spring game with temperatures in the mid-50s at kickoff. By the end of the game, highs will reach the low 60s. Clear skies persist tonight with overnight lows in the upper 40s. It will be warmer on Sunday with highs in the mid-70s.
A low-pressure system dives into the area Sunday evening with isolated thunderstorms possible. A few storms could become strong to severe. The primary threat will be gusty winds; however, hail and frequent lightning cannot be ruled out. It remains comfortable and mild for the start of the work week with highs in the low to mid 70s.
Take advantage of the sunny Monday as our next weather maker arrives on Tuesday. A warm front lifts into the area ahead of a low-pressure system in the Plains. Highs will soar into the upper 70s! Rain and thunderstorms will be possible by Tuesday afternoon. Rain and thunderstorms continue into Wednesday as the low-pressure system pulls in a cold front. Rain lingers into Thursday and Friday as a secondary cold front slides into Ohio. Cooler air filters back into Ohio behind the cold front with temperatures in the upper 50s on Friday.
