Columbus Weather: Frosty start to Monday then a high of 62

TUESDAY: AM sun, more clouds later, high 74.FRIDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy, slight chance for rain, high 78.Good Monday morning! Freeze Warning for all of Central Ohio this morning with temps dipping into the lower 30s. Sunny skies today will warm us up quickly into the lower 60s for the afternoon. A few passing clouds tonight with low temps around 44. Mostly sunny again tomorrow with more clouds later and a high of 74.

The warm temperatures stick around through the end of the week. Mostly cloudy on Wednesday with a high of 73. An approaching disturbance may give us a stray shower Wednesday PM. Thursday is looking dry with a high of 76 with more clouds than sun. We bump up to around 78 on Friday with a slight chance for rain and mostly cloudy skies.

A cold front will likely arrive this weekend, but the timing varies on the forecast models. So, the timing of the rain and when temperatures drop is not ironed out exactly yet. Right now it looks like a few showers are possible on Saturday then more rain Sunday. Highs likely around 70 on Saturday then dip into the 60s on Sunday.

TROPICS UPDATE – Hurricane Tammy passed by the Eastern Caribbean islands this weekend and will continue slowly drifting north as a Category 1 Hurricane and could impact Bermuda later this week.
