Columbus Weather: Cold Friday morning followed by rain this evening

SATURDAY: Pre-dawn showers then slowly decreasing clouds, high 43.TUESDAY: Scattered showers & storms, high 60.

Light winds out of the southeast today will help to warm us up to around 59 this afternoon. We have clouds rolling in and we will be mostly cloudy today with rain arriving in the afternoon. Rain showers on and off this evening and tonight. The rain will race quickly to the east and should be out of the state by around daybreak Saturday. Winds will switch to the west and north overnight.

Sunday and Monday look to be decent days to get outside. Lighter winds for both days with warming temperatures. We warm to a high of 51 on Sunday with mostly sunny skies. So, still a little cool for the second half of the weekend. Monday we warm up to a high of 66 with partly cloudy skies. Tuesday we are expecting scattered rain and potential storms for Central Ohio. High temp around 60 on Tuesday. The rain will race out early Wednesday then clearing skies again. High temp around 53 on Wednesday with more sun later in the day. Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high temp around 54. Have a good one!
