The triple shooting happened at the Lamar Apartments in the 700 block of Mullen Street just before 2 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release from CBI. Three people were shot; two died at the scene. A sole survivor was taken to a hospital for treatment, and her condition was unknown Sunday morning.
CBI spokeswoman Susan Medina on Sunday did not know the ages of those shot; two victims were female and one male. She also did not know the age of the male suspect and could not say whether the suspect knew the victims before the attack or what might have motivated the shooting.
Only three dead, including the perp, doesn’t even qualify as a mass shooting in the US.
