Dairo Antonio Usuga, known as Otoniel, was captured during an operation carried out by the country's armed forces, military and police sources confirmed.

Presidential adviser Emilio Archila praised "the capture in Necocli of Dairo Antonio Usuga, alias 'Otoniel,' head of the Gulf Clan," in a message on Twitter.
