BOGOTÁ — El gobierno colombiano intentó atajar el jueves los cuestionamientos a su gestión como mediador entre el gobierno de Nicolás Maduro y la oposición venezolana, al asegurar que no ha desconocido al sector liderado por María Corina Machado, una de las principales opositoras y quien fue inhabilitada para competir en las próximas elecciones.
La controversia se alimentó a raíz de las reuniones de Petro en Caracas y la falta de detalles sobre qué interlocutor de la oposición se vio con el mandatario colombiano. El propio Petro dijo a la prensa el martes, sin dar nombres, que habló con 'quizá los más importantes en este momento, para lograr que este país pueda tener paz política”.
