The Red River Rivalry between No. 12 Oklahoma and No. 3 Texas highlights this week’s college slate

Another massive college football weekend is on deck, as there are 16 undefeated teams ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 after five full weeks. And nine of them are in the Top 10.

The undefeated Longhorns are also riding the momentum of last year’s 49-0 win over the Sooners, which was the biggest victory the program has ever had in the rivalry. Don’t expect this game to be as high-scoring as in past years, because both of these defenses are stingy – Oklahoma ranks tied for second the nation in scoring defense, giving up 8.5 points per game, while Texas is giving up 12.5 ppg, which is tied for 12th nationally.

The Terps are averaging 38.6 points per game and more than 450 total yards in their 5-0 start, while the fourth-ranked Buckeyes are tied for second in scoring defense and sixth in total defense, giving up 255.5 yards per outing.
