According to police, Kimberly Clark, 46, of Columbia, was the co-treasurer of an organization from which she stole $184,251. Police were originally notified of this on December 4th, 2023. The Columbia Boys Athletic Association, which serves young athletes in the Columbia area, posted an announcement to their social media Friday:
The CBAA is committed to transparency and the well-being of our youth athletes. We are writing to inform you that former representative Kim Clark has been charged with theft from our organization. As soon as evidence of the crime was obtained, the authorities were immediately notified. While this incident is disappointing, we want to assure you that the CBAA's core mission remains unchanged.
