Clouds increase, showers return in south-central Pennsylvania

It was mainly clear overnight, but now, clouds are increasing ahead of a disturbance developing over the Southeast. Morning temperatures are in the 50s. A few morning showers are possible, especially in southwestern counties. Look for mostly cloudy skies this afternoon, highs near 70, and showers from time to time. It will be more dry than wet today. Tonight, low pressure will move up the East Coast, leading to scattered showers. Lows will hover near 60 degrees.

Wednesday will feature cloudy skies, light rain, and drizzle, along with cooler highs in the mid-60s. It will be the coolest, wettest day of the work week, as low pressure hangs off the coast of Delmarva, funneling easterly winds into the Susquehanna Valley. Low pressure will slowly move northeast Thursday, leading to lingering clouds and showers. Highs will rebound to the low 70s. 3-day rain totals will be around 0.50' in most areas.Friday is looking drier now, with highs in the mid-70s.
