Abortion rights backers fearful of upcoming Supreme Court ruling.

"The reality is that anything that has a detrimental impact on the general community has a more detrimental impact on communities of color," said Nia Weeks, a reproductive justice attorney based in New Orleans.

"When we see states try to ban abortion or close abortion clinics, then we're seeing much larger distances for travel and travel has an impact," said Nash. Amid the coronavirus crisis, the New Orleans Abortion Fund has already noticed more callers traveling out-of-state to get an abortion, as a result of longer wait times, because clinics are only able to see a number of patients at a time with social distancing in place.

Gretchen Whitm… I support that decision, but why in the world is this a story in an entertainment publication? What does politics in Michigan have to do with Hollywood? Glad to see this. This is going open up the pathway for businesses to sue for selective discrimination. If some businesses were able to continue to operate with PPE and social distancing considerations then ALL businesses should have been able to continue to operate as well. Some GOOD SANE NEWS !

Beloved American restaurants shut down as coronavirus relief falls shortEconomic pressure from the coronavirus outbreak is hitting some of the country’s top-tier restaurants, forcing some to close for good. Or the local tyrants keeping lock down going could you know open back up. The states should provide financial relief - then bill the US Treasury. GavinNewsom The headline is misleading. Businesses are shutting down because of the local policies in response to COVID-19. COVID-19 relief money from the Feds is an attempt to lessen that blow.
