The protesters plan to block traffic at Marble Arch, Oxford Circus, Waterloo Bridge, Parliament Square and Piccadilly Circus from Monday at 10:00 GMT. Roadblocks will continue night and day at each site and the demonstrators say the protests could last at least five days. The group, which generated headlines with a semi-nude protest in the House of Commons earlier this month, has warned its members that some of them could be arrested for taking part in non-violent civil disobedience.

WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange faces U.S. computer-hacking charge after arrest in LondonBreaking: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been indicted on a U.S. charge alleging a computer hacking conspiracy to access a classified U.S. government computer, the Justice Department announced shortly after he was arrested by British police. Assange was forcibly removed from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where he had been granted sanctuary for nearly seven years, after the South American country's leader ended his diplomatic asylum.
