While the national spotlight has focused on states that have struggled to adapt their elections to our new reality, for many states there are already significant changes underway—and safe, secure, and successful primary elections taking place.

is helping to make sure polling locations have enough poll workers by recruiting younger voters to serve as poll workers.

Campuses interested in joining their state’s challenge should follow these steps: form a campus working group, authorize the NSLVE study to access their campus’ voter registration and voter turnout data, develop and implement a campus action plan, and share their NSLVE report and action plan with the ALL IN Challenge. There is no charge for campuses to participate in the challenge or the NSLVE study.

The ALL IN Challenge provides a vital communication channel between state election offices and colleges and universities, which serve as trusted messengers of information to students. Whether through virtual student voting summits or through email communication, state election offices are able to provide key election information to college students who may be first-time or inexperienced voters.

State election officials across the country have an incredible responsibility this year — perhaps more than ever before—to ensure voters understand their rights and feel confident in their ability to exercise them. We encourage state election officials across the country to honor that responsibility by creating state voting challenges to support, educate and encourage the next generation of voters.
