The City of Mobile has overhauled its Event Services Application process to simplify organizing events hosted at city facilities or that require public services

.as an all-in-one center for individuals and organizations planning events that require an Event Services Application. Among other examples, these types of events can include large gatherings on City of Mobile property or events that use city services like police, sanitation, or traffic engineering.

In the past, organizers had to navigate multiple City of Mobile departments to get the information, approvals, and services needed for their activities. Over the last few months, the Event Services Department and Office of Strategic Initiatives have collaborated with nearly a dozen city departments to streamline the process for submitting an Event Services Application.
