Austin City Council discusses 'terms and conditions' of City Manager Spencer Cronk's jobThe Austin City Council will be discussing the terms and conditions of City Manager Spencer Cronk's job in the aftermath of the failures following last week's ice storm. They’re going after Cronk but not the $400k chief executive of Austin Energy? Make it make sense. Blame the massive population explosion and horrible infrastructure that Austin has neglected for years and years. Also I have never seen so many tree limbs down in my entire life in this area… what the heck was the “City Manager” supposed to do about the weather. Houston has people trimming tree branches over the power lines year round. This is the problem with Austin, they don't. Rather than recognizing the problem and correcting it, they want to blame someone. How is no one capable of critical thinking these days?
