For her costume, Aguilera perfectly recreated Cher’s long black curls and skin-tight leather leotard.
Aguilera continued, “No one could ever fill the shoes of the great & powerful Cher. In the movie, Aguilera plays Alice Marilyn, a.k.a. Ali, an aspiring singer who leaves her small hometown in Iowa to chase her dreams in Los Angeles.
At the 2011 Golden Globe Awards, the film’s “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me,” written by Diane Warren and performed by Cher, won best original song.
