Christian Pulisic’s early goal at AT&T Stadium helps USMNT top Bolivia in Copa America

On the pitch, they had no problems showing it.

Bolivia’s squad features 18 players pulled from just three club teams from the nation’s First Division Professional League.Only five players of the Bolivian team play abroad. Two in Brazil, one in Russia, one in Switzerland and one more in the Barcelona B of Spain.The disparity between both squads was evident, and barely three minutes into the match, Christian Pulisic opened the scoring for USMNT with a spectacular shot inside the box.

In less than three minutes, the Italian referee Maurizio Mariani had to show Leonel Justiniano and Luis Haquin a yellow card for tackling Gio Reyna.In the 64th minute, Ricardo Pepi, the former FC Dallas player, came on to the field, replacing Balogun.Pepi almost scored in the 66th minute when Antonee Robinson made a run down from the left side to send a cross into the box, allowing Pepi to take a shot, but the ball just rolled past the goal.
