FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - Brooks Koepka has gone from being an afterthought to the most dominant player in golf over the last two years, the quiet assassin who speaks softly but carries a big stick.

The 29-year-old American told a press conference on Tuesday ahead of the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black that he could not think of any reason why would not win at least 10 majors by the end of his career.“Half the people shoot themselves out of it, and mentally I know I can beat most of them, and then from there it’s those guys left, who’s going to play good and who can win.

While Koepka is back in the spotlight after his latest feat, he feels his performances over the past two years have not received the accolades they deserved.

Brooks Koepka Looks Set to Capture PGA ChampionshipBarring an unimaginable turn of events, the margin of victory will be the only question left for Brooks Koepka to settle in Sunday’s final round of the PGA Championship. He leads by seven strokes, the largest 54-hole lead in tournament history. I keep hearing the media pronounce Koepka as the winner, and everyone else playing for 2nd. But the same was said of Arnold Palmer in the 1966 U.S. Open at Olympic Club. He had a 7 SHOT LEAD with 9 HOLES TO PLAY... and lost. As Yogi Berra said, 'it ain't over till it's over.' No one cares.
