Millions of people demonstrated on the streets of Hong Kong this month against a bill that would allow people to be extradited to the mainland to face trial in courts controlled by the Communist Party. Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump will meet at the G20 summit in the Japanese city of Osaka this week amid heightened trade tensions between the world’s two largest economies.

中国讨厌一切干涉中国内政的国家

Obnoxious every single one of them.

China does not allow the G20 nations to bring up hongkongprotests against extraditionbill at the G20 meeting in Japan this Thursday. guardian cnni DailyMailUK Hong Kong Cartoonist: cusonlo

At the G20, can you discuss US immigration issues or the UK election issue? The same as the Hong Kong issue. It is all internal affairs.

Non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries is the basic norm of international relations.

Too bad for China

Typical Chinese Communist Party response. They will not allow discussion? Someone should tell him that he cannot tell democratic and free countries what they can and cannot discuss.

So, china put their censorship upon g20 leaders too? lol

And by what means will they prevent it from being discussed? 🙄

I am going to discuss it at home just to piss him off.

Their loss: too bad they've chosen to cut off their own nose (face) to fight back at tRump.

Apart from China and Russia, other countries can discuss the issue of stinky Hong Kong together. At the summit, other countries should also discuss the persecution of Xinjiang Uygurs by the Communist Party.

What are THE STUPID CHINESE going to do? Bring their military tanks from China and threaten the G20?

If Trump comes away empty at the G20 Summit, it’s obvious what people will conclude: Trump can’t close deals. Don’t we think we’ve given Dumbo Drumpf enough time and rope to hang himself?

“Well..seems we both need something, see we have these camps and we really would rather those not come up as well. Definitely not with C-word in front of it. This is the G-20! Classy Funtime!”

I disagree. Sweeping this issue under the carpet does not help Hong Kong or China. Trying to run out the clock on this younger generation of Taiwanese who appear to appreciate their rights will not work.
