China has protested the passage of a U.S. Navy destroyer through the Taiwan Strait, calling it a deliberate move to undermine stability in the region.

The Associated PressThe U.S. Navy said in a statement the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius “conducted a routine Taiwan Strait transit” on Tuesday “in accordance with international law.”

“The United States military flies, sails, and operates anywhere international law allows,” said the statement posted on the website of the 7th Fleet. “This is not a commitment to freedom and openness, but a deliberate attempt to disrupt and undermine regional peace and stability," Zhao told reporters at a daily news briefing.

China is the ones threatening invasion of a sovereign nation. Ugh

China saying anything is destabilising. The free world should build a 1,000 metre wall around this agressive nation before one of their military starts WW3.

China should send a destroyer in the gulf of Mexico...

Bullshit

Let the war begin and end this disgusting world.

Guessing Biden will Bow Down.

The world knows what country is destabilizing the region. Taiwan has a right to be a separate country.

It’s a boat floating on water, sensitive much 🤣

Ok china.. don't send your fishing trollers anywhere near the American shores

Just the latest volley in the match.

Undermining stability is China’s game—the US isn’t allowed to play.

No Worries. They are just sight seeing!

Yeah after passing through every year at least a couple of times for past 2 decades it's now a provocative move. Ok Karen.
