The mayor of Mpondwe said that authorities recovered the bodies of 41 people, including 38 students of the Lhubiriha Secondary School. The three adults include one guard and two members of the local community who wereIsingoma did not identify the attackers but described them as gun-wielding men. He was in the boys’ dormitory during the attack.
