Child and puppy found wandering alone in central Alabama; police trying to find family

Millbrook police are trying to find family of a young boy found alone Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, in Elmore County. Authorities are searching for the parents of guardians of a young boy who was found alone Friday afternoon in Millbrook.

The boy, who appears to be about 3 years old, was found at 2:20 p.m. in the 2800 block of Charmwood Drive near Main Street. Authorities said the boy was wearing dark jogging pants, Croc shoes and no shirt. He was accompanied by a Pitbull puppy. Police have not been able to locate his family.
