Chick-fil-A on Oct. 16, 2023, launched a free digital cookbook called "Extra Helpings." Shown is a Waffle Potato Fry Frittata recipe using Chick-fil-A waffle potato fries from Chick-fil-A Shared Table partner Second Helpings in Atlanta, Georgia. includes recipes from Chick-fil-A’s nonprofit partners in the program that repurpose restaurant food donations to help feed the hungry.
The cookbook includes 26 recipes for “breakfasts, side dishes, dinners and desserts – such as breakfast casseroles, chicken enchiladas and apple cobbler – which utilize common extra food items in home kitchens” as well as stories from the nonprofits on how they care for people in need.
