Chicago sees 18 homicides in deadliest day in 60 years

Kapustin said the day also capped the deadliest weekend residents in the so-called Windy City have seen in 28 years. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Buchanan shared an essay Bolden wrote as a class assignment about the Chicago neighborhood where she grew up and was killed.

Maybe Chicago should experiment with everyday civilians lives who need to work and exist peacefully by defunding the police department. The stupidity of this thought is beyond comprehension. Defend the good Cops, show them respect and appreciation.

Where is the protest? That's a lot of deaths in a short period of time. George Floyd was one person and look at the reaction. Here 18 lives are taken, just another day in Chicago. So, do black lives matter? Apparently not in this situation. Maybe it's some black lives matter.

Hmm... Surely these killings weren't all caused by Officers. Can we have the stats on Race and Employment of the killers, once confirmed? I'm trying to connect the dots here, and that'd be a huge help.
