A 17-year-old Chicago Ridge resident was fatally shot in Hazel Crest over the weekend, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
William Talliaferro, of the 10500 block of Parkside Avenue, was fatally shot near 173rd Street and Kedzie Avenue in Hazel Crest, according to the office.He was pronounced dead at 3:11 a.m. Saturday at Advocate Christ Medical Center. The medical examiner’s office said Talliaferro died from a gunshot wound to the right eye, and ruled his death a homicide.Advertisement
