Breaking news: Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot tested positive for COVID-19 and is working from home with cold-like symptoms, she announced in a statement.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot attends a press conference at City Hall after a proposal for Chicago Public Schools to resume in-person classes Wednesday was approved by the Chicago Teachers Union's House of Delegates Monday Jan. 10, 2022 in Chicago.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot tested positive for COVID-19 and is working from home with cold-like symptoms, she announced in a statement. The mayor said she is feeling fine aside from the cold-like symptoms, which she attributed to being vaccinated and boosted. “I will continue to work from home while following the CDC guidelines for isolation,” Lightfoot said. “This is an urgent reminder for folks to get vaccinated and boosted as it’s the only way to beat this pandemic.”

That 4th booster really helped

She must have been partying with the lieutenant governor

TMcFaddenWNDU But will the virus get into her organ cells? That's the difference. The vaccinated don't end up like that. They sneeze a few times and then go back to work.

That stupid monkey

LazyLori

She has a cold but everything is covid these days

During a July 2021 CNN town hall, U.S. President Joe Biden stated that 'You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.' ChicagoMayor is triple vaxed. Time to understand that mandates, Vax passes, and restrictions have nothing to do health and safety.

The irony…

frank_farquaad I’m sorry for your loss

Hope she’s pulls through it with minimal impact to her health. The lack of empathy in these comments is nuts. Then again these are some of the same nuts that want the world open 100%.

Good News After All

Take away her laptop and tell her to stay home rest of year

Lightfoot was on MeetThePress Sunday, shaking with anger, or was it COVID chills? Good thing chucktodd had the option to interview her remotely.

Did she get it from Kevin mchale?

Wait why is she working from home?

Working from home now that’s a laugh! She can’t even get anything done from the 5 th floor of city hall!

Told yah.. vaccinated or not you can still get Covid .. now can we end this ridiculous mandate

the luxury of working from home just like that huh, what a thought

She must not be following the science. SAD!!!!

Lock her out of her remote access

LMFAOOOOOO but yeah let’s make mandates that you can’t get into public places without a vaccine… that she has…. And still got covid … and could have spread it…. Makes sense 🤣🤣

She also tested positive for male pattern baldness

put her in protocols and bring in a hardship mayor

PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN

Breaking news? What a joke ….

Her commitment to trying to show kids shouldn't be at home where Covid runs rampant is amazing

After Lori Lightfoot and The teacher’s union reached agreement for in-person classes. Coincidence? Not really. She had to be positive before it happened and withheld to ink the deal forcing kids back into unsafe classrooms. chicagopublicschools
