The problem is the union never said anything about a work stoppage. They told officers to report for duty. The city is the one saying they won't get paid, if they aren't vaccinated for covid or undergo 2 tests a week at their own expense.
Whats funny is when the NYPD instituted a slowdown in response to elimination of stop and frisk, crime actually decreased. Cops don't prevent crime, they cause it.
