"I was an opposite field hitter my first two years," Sandberg said after the ceremony." Jim Frey wanted me to turn on some fastballs on fastball counts. 'If it doesn't work you can go back to your way.' I did it and learned how to cover the inside pitch and hit some home runs. It was instant results."
