I live 3 hours north from portland. If you're a native to this region, you AVOID portland. The traffic is a nightmare. Portland has ALOT of bridges crossing the columbia river. It confuses EVERYBODY. It clogs, and bottlenecks traffic. Oregons coastline is beautiful though.
