Cher, 77, says boyfriend Alexander 'AE' Edwards, 37, doesn't get 'most of my references'

He’s a beautiful man,” she toldEdwards, who is 40 years Cher’s junior, first met the singer at a fashion event in the fall of 2022.

Cher explained that a mutual friend had given him her number, which was “really shocking, because people just don’t give out my number,” she said.“I had been telling all my friends, ‘We’re too old to go out with really younger men, and I will never fall in love on text.’ So I did what I said not to do!”

“If you have happiness, you can’t think about how long it’s going to last,” she added. “You have to think about ‘How does it feel?’ and live in the moment.
