'This is not going to be easy. I still suspect that at least 50% of the restaurants will not get open.'

He said he's also trying to get the message to Congress that the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act Act"doesn't really work for the restaurant industry right now."provides the single largest economic relief package in U.S. history, and will include direct payments for qualifying individuals as well as loans and loan forgiveness for small businesses.

Colicchio said he's been asked repeatedly when he's going to open his restaurants again. He said this isn't the right question to be asking.

The restaurants will be fine, but only if the customers have the money to afford them.

We're gonna sue

This is sad. Restaurants are going to take a hard hit. It’s just gonna be tough to bring in crowds. Especially the over 60 & retired.

we are going to have to figure out what the new rules of the game will be when we reopen. If and when restaurants and bars re-open.... what will the seating be like? Etc. How will they continue to protect their staff... all sorts of things to be thinking about now for then.

I don’t see a lot of the restaurants reopening after this especially the smaller ones

Yes, but food prep & delivery surely must rise drastically. I’m definitely sick of cooking for my family. Happy to get good food delivery twice/week. Not Pizza!

I think there will be thousands of restaurant failures.

I agree.

What this? FakeNews

Take care of people first and business recovery will follow. Trying to take care of business while people are still getting sick is like making the bed with somebody still sleeping in it.

Is this Fake News too? Like the White House Coronavirus Briefings that took place in Syria, Kentucky back in November? ABC Fake News, you have a very serious credibility problem.
