Chaos in Minneapolis: Protests and Looting, a CNN Reporter's Arrest, and an Extraordinary Presidential Tweet

The situation in Minneapolis threatened to spiral out of control on Friday, as riots continued overnight and into the pre-dawn hours, police arrested a CNN reporter who was simply covering the scene with his three-person crew and the President of the United States, in an extraordinary tweet, apparently called for protestors to be shot if any looting took place.

Instead, as the cameras continue to roll, Jimenez was handcuffed and taken into custody, as he continued to ask, "Why am I under arrest, sir?" Soon, CNN anchors Alisyn Camerota and John Berman were interviewing CNN correspondent Josh Campbell, who had been reporting from a block away at the same time that Jimenez was being arrested. Berman asked Campbell if he had encountered any problems of his own with police. The answer, Campbell said, was no.
